Reviews and Ratings
My stay at the hotel was a mixed experience. The rooms were very hot, but the view was nice and they were somewhat comfortable, though not very well equipped. The service was exceptional, especially considering the bad weather conditions. The location was excellent, just a short walk from the train station and Geilo center, making it convenient for accessing ski slopes. The dining was good overall but could be chaotic during busy times. Despite some downsides, the hotel's service and convenient location were standout features.
I had a pleasant stay at the hotel, with cozy and clean rooms. However, the lack of tea making facilities was inconvenient, and the room could have been vacuumed better. The service was exceptional, particularly the morning staff who provided great tips for skiing. The location was perfect, close to the center and ski bus stops, making it ideal for budget-conscious travelers. The dining experience was decent but a bit chaotic during peak times. Overall, a good value for money option in a great location for ski enthusiasts.
My stay at the hotel was a pleasant experience overall. The rooms were big, clean, and comfortable, perfect for a night's rest. While the breakfast was okay, it was one of the simplest I've had in Norway. The view directly over the ski slopes to the South was lovely, adding to the charm of the accommodation.
The hotel's location is ideal, close to the town center and transportation options, but the rooms showed signs of decay with a constant dampness issue. The service was friendly and accommodating, although dining could be chaotic at times. The amenities and facilities were generally satisfactory for a comfortable stay.
I was impressed by the comfortable and recently renovated rooms, although they were not heated when we arrived. The friendly and knowledgeable service made planning my daily ski trips much easier, but they could be more hospitable. The hotel's excellent location, just a short walk from the train station and ski facilities, was very convenient. The dining options were amazing with lots of choices, and the hotel had great facilities overall.
